I'm Roman, a proposal photographer based in Athens. I help you pick the spot and the timing. Then I stay hidden until you're on one knee.
Your partner sees just another tourist with a camera. You get the whole story: the walk up, the question, the yes and the hug after.
I shoot photo, video and drone myself, in the same session. One person and one plan, with no crew to give the surprise away.
How it works
1. Tell me your story
Send me your date on WhatsApp or through the form. Tell me about your partner and what you have in mind.
2. We pick the spot and the time
I suggest places that fit your story and the light at that hour. Golden hour and sunset are the favorites.
3. I get there first
I arrive early, check the light and find my angle. You'll know where I am. Your partner won't.
4. You give the signal
We agree on something simple, like touching your hair. When you do it, I'm already shooting.
5. After the yes
I step in, congratulate you both and photograph you together for the rest of the session.
6. Your gallery
Your edited photos arrive in a private online gallery within 10 days.
Where to propose in Athens
Filopappou Hill
The Acropolis right behind you, with pine trees and stone paths around you.
Plaka and Anafiotika
Whitewashed lanes, bougainvillea and quiet steps under the Acropolis. It feels like an island in the middle of the city.
Cape Sounion
The Temple of Poseidon above the sea at sunset. It's about an hour from Athens, and worth the drive.
A private rooftop
Full privacy and an Acropolis view. A good choice if your partner is shy, or if you want a dinner setup.
An Athens Riviera beach
Sand, sea and sunset just south of the city. Perfect for candles or a heart on the beach.

Proposal photography
Up to 1 hour. 50 edited photos in a private online gallery.
Photo and video
Up to 1 hour. 50 edited photos, a 30 to 60 second cinematic reel and one full edited video.
Photo, video and drone
Up to 2 hours. 100 edited photos, the video and aerial footage from the drone. My best-value package.
Extra hour: €130. You can extend on the spot.
Every package includes discreet positioning before the proposal, candid coverage of the moment and couple photos right after.
A deposit secures your date. You pay the rest at the end of the shoot, in cash or by card. Rescheduling is free with at least 7 days' notice.

What if it rains?
Rain is rare in Athens for most of the year. If the forecast turns, we look at a covered spot, another time that day or a new date.
How do you stay hidden?
I arrive before you and blend in like any tourist with a camera. I shoot from a distance, so your partner won't notice me until you're on one knee.
Can you help with flowers, candles or a setup?
Yes. I work regularly with local decorators and can connect you with one. Then I plan the angles and timing around your setup.
Can family or friends join?
Yes. They can wait nearby and join after the yes. I'll photograph the celebration too, within your session time.
How fast do we get the photos?
Within 10 days, in a private online gallery you can download and share.
Do you shoot proposals outside Athens?
Yes, anywhere in Greece, including the islands. Travel is quoted separately.
What languages do you speak?
English, Hebrew, Russian and Greek.
